Gasston Stables is proud to host a full calendar of events throughout the year including exclusive demos from some of the world’s top riders including Tina Cook, Gemma Tattersall, Andrew Gould, Francis Whittington and more.  

Clinics spaces are always limited and very popular so please book in advance. No entries will be accepted without payment on booking. All dates are subject to change if weather conditions do not allow for us to proceed!

Clear Round run on surface, with warm up also on a surface.
Entries on the day or book online! Rosettes to all clear rounds.
Clear Round £8 per round.

Body Protectors are compulsory and disclaimers must be signed prior to entering the XC course.

Self stewarding Dressage, warm up and tests on a surface in large mirrored outdoor school with warm up area.

Clinics and Combined Training

Clinics are held by Lucy Gasston, (BHSAI) at different venues. The venues are all subject to change depending on availability and weather conditions. When the venues are off site (e.g Pacesham) they will have their own hire charge, please discuss with Lucy to find out approximate charges, a discount can sometimes be arranged for a group booking. You are responsible for arranging your own transport!

All clinics are based according to ability and all levels will be taught. Each clinic varies in duration and price. For a rough guide show jumping clinics are usually 1 hour with four to a group and cross country clinics are also usually 1 hour with 4 to a group. Prices vary and numbers are limited, please speak to us for availability.

Clinic Booking Terms and Conditions

  • Dressage entries close 3 days prior to date of competition and all entries must be made in advance only.
  • Clinic and dressage times will be posted on our Facebook page on the Thursday prior to competition.
  • All clinics must be paid for in advance.
  • Combined training jumping section will run on grass weather permitting.

Rules and Conditions of Entry

  • The organisers do not hold themselves responsible for anything that may happen to competitors, spectators, their property, horses or servants in connection with or arising out of this event. It shall be a condition of entry that each entrant shall agree to indemnify the organisers against any legal action arising from any incident. Disclaimers must be signed before cross country jumping.
  • The organisers have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present . In order for this to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions and obey the instructions of the organisers.
  • Once booked, events spaces are non refundable unless a suitable replacement rider/entrant is found. Replacements are to be sourced by the person who made the booking. 
  • Entries may be transferred to a future event at the organisers discretion.
  •  For showjumping clear round and cross country clear round events, a full refund can be issued upon request up to 24 hours before the date of the event. 
  • The organisers reserve the right to alter or cancel any of the classes as necessary. Dogs must stay on a lead at all times at the showground, and must be cleaned up after. NO DOGS ALLOWED ON NORTH LODGE PREMISES!
  • Hard hats / crash helmets correctly fastened must be worn at all times when mounted. Body protectors are strongly recommended for all jumping events and compulsory for cross country jumping. The judge’s decision is final. Objections accompanied by a deposit of £20 must be made in writing within 15 minutes of the incident. The deposit will be forfeited if the objection is not sustained.

Showjumping Arena Hire

Our full course of Jump4Joy competition jumps is usually available to hire in our main arena the day before and after our showjumping clinics – it is also available on some ad-hoc dates. £15 per half hour & £5 per additional horse. Please email us for further info: info@gasstonstables.co.uk
